Lovie Shaniece Dillingham, 45, of Lima, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 4:38 a.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

Lovie was born on December 30, 1980, to the late Ronald Steven Dillingham, Sr. and Shirley Pinn, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the youngest of her family—the baby—and held a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

At a young age, Lovie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior, and her life reflected that faith. She loved everyone and, in return, was loved by everyone who crossed her path. Lovie worked at Kleen Sweep and in various domestic roles, but her greatest joy and proudest role was being a mother to her beloved children.

Lovie enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She was known for her humor, honesty, and sweet spirit. After the passing of her mother, Lovie’s light dimmed, but she leaned on her faith and family for strength and comfort. She remained a beautiful and free-spirited soul whose presence brought warmth to those around her.

Lovie leaves to cherish her memory her two children, her handsome son DeQuan D. Harmon and one beautiful daughter NyKeia A. Dillingham, both of Lima; six sisters who she had a close bond with, Terria Dillingham, Taufikie Dillingham (Jemale), Jamekia Sorrels, Krishana White, Taurisse White, and Damika Walker, all of Lima; along with a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald “Lighty” Dillingham, Jr.

Lovie’s life, love, and light will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc., with Pastor Julius Laws officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
