Mr. Louis Louallen Owens, age 77, passed from this life on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at approximately 12:40 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems, surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Owens was born on September 22, 1938 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Everett and Elnora Jennings Owens.  He was preceded in death by his father, his mother Elnora Payne and his stepfather; John Payne.  2 brother; Jimmie Owens and Orville "Jackie" Owens and a sister; Phyllis "Tilly" Taylor.

Mr. Owens was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps having received a Good Conduct Medal and a Marksman Badge.  He served from 1958 to 1964 and was honorable discharged.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sisters; Linda (Jonathan) Hollingsworth and Donna (Sylvester) Thornton.  5 brothers:  Howard Payne, Dennis (Valerie) Payne, Larry "Poncho" Payne, Gary (Shirley) Payne and Calvin Payne.  1 aunt; Betty (Leroy) Williams.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.  He was loved in life and will be sadly missed.
