Ms. Linda Kay Polk, age 70, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 2:43 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

Linda was born on March 22, 1955, to the late Tom and Stella (Carthon) Polk. Both parents preceded her in death. She lived a life centered on family, community, and kindness toward others.

Linda was active in neighborhood and community work and took great pride in helping those around her. She was known for her warm personality and generous spirit. In her free time, Linda enjoyed cooking for her family, playing cards, and sharing her beautiful smile and laughter with everyone she met. She had a special way of making people feel welcome and loved, often treating friends and neighbors as if they were part of her own family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her only daughter, Kokina S. Polk of Lima, Ohio; two grandchildren; Marquise and Raekwon and six great-grandchildren; Dominic, Demoni, Camiah, Sanaya, Reon, and Naevi, ten siblings, Tommy Polk, Alvin (Mary) Polk, Ulyesse (Gwen) Polk, Larry (Barba) Polk, Omar (Kenyetta) Polk, Vera Johnson, Olivia Aldridge, Paulette Freeman, Sharon Henderson, and Marshelle Polk, all of Chicago, Illinois, and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her loving parents, Linda was preceded in death by one brother, Robert L. Polk.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Jones-Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Julius Laws, officiating.
