Mr. Leroy Martin, age 94, passed from this life on Friday, January 06, 2017 at approximately 11:45 a.m. at Lima Manor Nursing Home.

He was born on July 21, 1922 in Magnolia, Mississippi to Otis and Elizabeth Hurst Martin; both parents preceded him in death.

He was united in holy matrimony on October 4, 1980 to  Margaret (Hall) Martin, she survives in Lima.

Mr. Martin worked at Phillips GTE in Sylvania, Ohio.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and United States Air Force where he served in World War II and earned a    Korean Service Medal and 2 Bronze Service Stars. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1911.

Besides his loving wife Margaret, he leaves to cherish his precious memory 3 children;  Louanne Miller of Battle Creek, MI.  Carla Simpson (Rev. Joey) of Ft Wayne, IN and Tina Martin of Lima.  4 stepsons;  Orlanzoe Williams, Gregg Williams (Vickie), Rico Williams (Sedeka) and Victor Doyle all of Lima.  6 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren.  11 great grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren.  A host of family and friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. B. LaMont Monford, Sr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.

Interment:  Dayton National Cemetery
