Mr. Lee Earnest "Sonny Boy" Williams, age 75, passed from this life on Monday, October 12, 2015 at approximately 10:31 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

He was born on March 9, 1940 in Laneville, Texas to the union of R. J. and Wilhelmina Anderson Williams.  Both his parents preceded him in death.

On November 24, 1962 he was united in holy matrimony to Dorothy Mae Hines, she survives in Lima.

Mr. Williams retired from General Motors Corporation as a Supervisor.  He was a member of West Side Church of Christ where he loved to sing.  He was a former member of Masonic Order.  He loved his family and adored his grandchildren.  He loved watching basketball and especially the Cleveland Cavaliers and doing yard work.

Besides his loving wife Dorothy, he leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons;  Treyuan Williams and Traveil Williams both of Lima.  2 daughters; Carla Williams of Lima and Lisa Williams (Farah) of Columbus, Ohio.  6 grandchildren.  2 brothers; Elree Williams of Florida and Luther R. Williams of Mississippi.  A sister; Carolyn Miller of Mt. Enterprise, TX.  Adopted sister; Cutie Joyce Robinson of Oklahoma City, OK.  A special cousin; Mierley Lockhart of Atlanta, GA. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother; Charles Williams and a sister; Zenoria Fuller.

Services will be held Tuesday October 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm at East Elm Street Church of Christ, 1321 E. Elm Street with Bro. Clinton Hartman, officiating and Bro.  Robert Horton, eulogizing.  Visitation/Wake will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 from 4-8 pm with the family present 6-8 pm at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home.
