Ms. LaJoyce Ann Williamson, age 61, passed from this life on Monday, May 3, 2021 at approximately 6:12 p.m.  at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

She was born on April 8, 1960  in Lima, Ohio to the union of Larry Vernon and Helen (Thompson) Shurelds, Sr.  Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Lima, Ohio.

Ms. Williamson retired as a Chemical Operator at Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, Alabama.  She loved playing cards and bingo.

Besides her loving mother Helen, she leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 daughters; April Thomas of Atlanta, GA and Misty Bailey-Hall (Jeremiah) of Birmingham, AL.  4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  4 brothers; Larry V. Shurelds, Jr. (Lucy), Tony Shurelds, Harold Shurelds and Bruce Shurelds (Doris) all of Lima.  4 sisters; Bonnie Perkins (Frank) of Anniston, AL.  Cathy Shurelds and Phyllis Stewart (Lee) both of Lima.  Tammy Shurelds of Columbus, OH.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Yvonne Shurelds and Carolyn Cotton.

Home going services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Cleven Jones, officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p .m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
