Mr. Kevin Lamarce Stevens, Sr., age 55, passed from this life on Friday, June 19, 2020 at approximately 5:56 p.m. at Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born on April 3, 1965 in Lima, Ohio to Mamie L. Stevens and Edmond Weeden, Jr.  His father preceded him in death and his mother; Mamie Lee Stapleton passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.

Kevin graduated from Lima Senior High School where he played football, ran track, wrestling team and weight lifting He set many records that some were broken by his son Kendall. Steven  loved to sing.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children; Maurice Smith, Kendall L. Stevens, Martia Smith, Eric Fisher,  Curtis R. Stevens,  Daniel Johnson, Kevin L. Stevens, Jr., Brittany N. Stevens and Ashley R. Stevens.  His siblings; Vanessa McCann, Corlisa Tyson, Deborah Gilbert-Woodley, Anthony (Boo) Flowers and Nichele Alberty.  2 step-brothers; Curtis L. Stapleton, Jr. and James Mclellan. Maternal grandmother; Mrs. Marie Weeden.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter;  JaQuaja A. Smith.  Maternal grandparents; Henry & Annie Bell Stevens and Paternal grandfather; Edmond Weeden.

There will be a Balloon release in his memory at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
