Mr. Kevin Theophilus Foy, age 63, peacefully transitioned from this life to eternal life on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 1:31 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Kevin was born on January 28, 1963, in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Theodis Foy and the late Mary Chapel (Jones) Foy. He was preceded in death by both of his beloved parents.

On October 2, 1993, Kevin married the love of his life, Angela Hudgins. Together they shared 32 wonderful years of marriage, building a life rooted in unwavering love, faith, compassion, and devotion to one another, their family, and their community.

Kevin was widely known and deeply respected throughout the Sidney community. He devoted countless hours to mentoring and coaching young people, leaving a lasting impact on every child whose life he touched. After many years of dedicated service, Kevin retired from the Shelby County Highways Department in 2023. His strong work ethic and commitment to serving his community were evident both on the job and in his everyday life. His generous spirit extended far beyond the workplace. Whether caring for lawns, lending a helping hand to someone in need, or enjoying football while cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys and The Ohio State Buckeyes, Kevin found joy in serving others and spending time with family and friends.

A faithful servant of God, Kevin was a dedicated member of Mt. Zion Holy Union Church of God, where he faithfully served as a Deacon and blessed the congregation with his God-given talent as a drummer. His heart for ministry, worship, and service enriched the lives of his church family for many years.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Angela Foy of Sidney, Ohio; three beloved children: one daughter, Cody J.N. (Paul) Smith of Columbus, Ohio. two sons, Xavier J.R. Foy and Kanavis H.T. Foy, both of Sidney, Ohio; He also leaves seven cherished grandchildren: Savaughn, Olivia, Cruz, Thomas, September, Iris and Tate.

He is also survived by six loving siblings: Gregory L. (Yolonda) Foy of West Palm Beach, Florida; Terrance L. Foy of Sidney, Ohio; Trevis L. (Elizabeth) Foy of Sidney, Ohio; Crystal R. Foy of Cincinnati, Ohio; Kimberley E. (Kendall) Taylor of Lima, Ohio; and Valarie P. (Anthony) Bagley of Lima, Ohio.

Kevin also leaves to mourn his passing his special friends, Shauna Strunk and her children and Angela White and her children, Te'Onna, Tierra and Tevin, and the entire White family. He was also blessed with friends who became family, including Charles Stockton, Glen Stanton, Curtis Johnson, Tom Clark, Kenny Lee, Spencer Jenkins, Chris Overbey, Roger Pryor, Brian Snyder and Brother Mo, the Herd family, the Barnes family, Boyer family, and (special cousin’s) the Wyatt family. Along with special Uncle Joseph Jones. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives he touched, they will forever carry his love, kindness, and legacy in their hearts. Including the Clancy’s Restaurant breakfast friends, and the SHS Class of 1981.

Kevin's life was a testimony of faith, humility, generosity, and unconditional love. He believed in lifting others, giving without hesitation, and serving wherever there was a need. Though his earthly journey has ended, the example he set through his steadfast faith, compassionate heart, and unwavering dedication to his family and community will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched and in the enduring love he so freely shared.

Services honoring Mr. Kevin Theophilus Foy will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Sidney High School. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m.
