Kathryn Elaine Bratton, age 72, passed from this life on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 4:19 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.  She was born on July 8, 1951  in Lima, Ohio to William David and Pearlena (Ward) Powell.  Both her parents preceded her in death.

Kathryn retired from Dana Corporation and was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons; Michael A. Cook and Steven C. Bratton (Shalaka) both of Lima and William J. Bratton (Janaya) of Cincinnati, OH.  9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.   A sister; Joy Butler of Lima.   A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Angela Bratton.

Home Going Services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. Dennis Ward, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Interment:   Woodlawn Cemetery
