Mrs. Joyce Ann "Maw Maw" Boddie, age 71, passed from this life on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at approximately 6:13 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 7, 1953 in Lima, Ohio to Timothy Williams and Rosy May Jones, both  parents preceded her in death.

On July 23, 1982 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. William C. Boddie  who preceded her in death on July 28, 2014.

Mrs. Boddie worked as a Machinist at Trim Trends Company.

She was a member of New Beginning Ministries.  She was an auxiliary member of V.F.W. Post 1911, member of American Legion #95 and a member of Fraternal order of Eagles 370.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a daughter; Gwendolyn L. Upshaw (Lamark) of Lima. 3 grandchildren; Dajaun Upshaw of Atlanta, GA.  Del'Quan Williams and DaMarkus Upshaw both of Lima.  6 great-grandchildren; a special friend; James L. Williams of Lima.   A host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Kiva K. Williams.  A grandson; Devontae K. Williams and a sister; Linda K. Johnson.

Home Going Services will be held Friday, January 3, 2025   at 1:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Tony Joiner, eulogizing.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025  at 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  The family will be present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
