Mrs. Joyce Arlene Jones, age 74, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at approximately 3:37 p.m.  at St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was born on September 24, 1947 in Lima, Ohio to Ernest L. and Ethel Marie (Martin) Cottman.  Both parents preceded her in death.

On August 21, 1971 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr.  Robert T. Jones, Sr., he survives in Lima.

Mrs. Jones retired as a Secretary from B. P.  Chemical Company.  She was a member of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Besides her loving husband Robert, she leaves to cherish her precious memory, a daughter; Julisa Jones of Lima.   A son; Robert T. Jones, Jr.  (Danielle Upshaw) of Lima. 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. 3 brothers; Richard E. Cottman (Teresa) of Monticello, KY.  David M. Cottman of Toledo, OH and Royal A. Cottman of Mt. Blanchard, OH.  3 step daughters; Renee James of Indianapolis, IN.  Trella Warfield (William Martin) of Akron, OH and Odessy Jones of Lima. 5 brothers-in-law; Adam Jones (Mary Ann), Alfred Jones (LaDonna), Calvin Jones (Kelli), Melvin Jones (Sally) and Gale Jones. 7 sisters-in-law; Berta Williams, Lula Estelle, Ethel Payne, Beatrice Johnson, Sharon Guice (Anthony), Trebie Jones and Doris Tyler (Rev. Levi). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother; Butch Cottman.

Home Going Services will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Levi Tyler, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on, Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the Funeral Home.

Interment  -  Memorial Park Cemetery.
