Ms. Josephine Clark, age 93, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 28, 2021 at approximately 10:24 a.m. St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

She was born on October 22, 1927 in Affinity, West Virginia to the union of William and Annie M. (Hannon) Payne, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Clark retired as a supervisor at Sak's Fifth Avenue in Short Hills, New Jersey.  She attended New Life Assembly Church, was a member of the Starlite Group and attended Adult Daycare.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Nathaniel A. Clark (Michelle) of Banning, California and a daughter; Judy Clark of Lima. 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Joyce A. Murray.  5 brothers; Sam Payne, William Payne, Jr., J.D. Payne, Eugene Payne and Robert Payne.  A sister; Mary Clark.

Private Home Going Services will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Robert Wardle, officiating.

Public Visitation/Wake will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.
