Joseph Nathaniel Johnson, age 52, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 6:03 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

He was born on August 14, 1962 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Joseph and Fannie Yates Johnson, both parents    preceded him in death.

He was employed by the United Brotherhood of       Carpenters.   He was a 1981 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School where he was on the track and basketball teams.  He loved both Basketball and Track and loved to work on houses.

Mr Johnson leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Michael M. Johnson of Charleston, W. VA.  5 daughters; Joniesha Johnson of Charleston, W. VA.  Michelle Johnson, Shyprice Johnson, ShaQuala Johnson and McKayla Johnson all of Lima.   6 grandchildren.  1 brother; James Williamson (Antoinette) of Lima.  6 sisters; Betty Malloy, Rosalind Johnson, Shirley Simpson (Paul), Lisa Miller (Bryan) and Regina Johnson all of Lima.  Nkechi Johnson (Brad)  of Sandusky, Ohio .  A close companion; Audra Cook.

He was preceded in death by a sister; Victoria Williamson and 2 nephews; Demarko Benjamin and Earl B. Johnson.
