Mrs. Johnnie Mae Sanders Qualls, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2015 at approximately 8:25 p.m. at her residence in Lima.

She was born on November 17, 1935 in Memphis, Tennessee to the union of John Eddie and Jimmie Hugh Jones; both parents preceded her in death.

She was married to Grant Qualls who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Qualls was a Homemaker, she was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church and a Former Eastern Star.  She was loved by her family and will be truly missed.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons; Marvel L. Sanders of Leesburg, Florida.  Tilmond B. Sanders of Lima.  Henry Brown (Veronica) of Ft. Wayne, IN.  A daughter; Grace Owens of Columbus, Ohio.  22 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. A sister; Patricia Lewis of Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Stephanie Sanders and a grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Dr.  B. LaMont Monford Sr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Thursday, 10:00 a.m. until time of services, also at the Funeral Home.
