John Pearson "JP", age 72, of Lima Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 2:55 P.M. on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He was born in Lima, Ohio on May 26, 1950 to Leroy Pearson and Mattie (Snipes) Pearson. Both parents preceded him in death.

John had the biggest heart and he knew how to love those around him. He loved watching boxing and supporting The Ohio State Buckeyes. At an early age he found the Lord under the leadership of Rev. Fred Amerson. John was also a faithful member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church for many years.

John leaves behind to cherish his precious memory 2 sons, Kitren Pearson and John Pearson Jr. both of Lima, OH; 4 daughters, Jacqueline (Danny) Pearson, Tinika (Jason) Pearson-Bonner both of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jonna McNeil and Leah Karuri both of Lima, OH; a brother, Otis (Jessie) Pearson of Lima, OH; a significant other, Donna Kirkman; a step-son, Terrence Kirkman of Lima, OH; 2 step-daughters, Volanda Kirkman and Dominique Kirkman all of Lima, OH; 35 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by 2 daughters, Nekosha Pearson and Valeda Thomas; a brother, Learnie "Leon" Pearson; a sister, Vera Young.
