Mr. John Richard Jenkins, Sr., in age 65, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at approximately 4:51 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on May 19, 1951 in Lima, Ohio to the union of George H. and Nancy L. (Taylor) Jenkins, Sr.; both his parents are deceased.

Mr. Jenkins worked at Vistron Corporation.  He enjoyed family, friends and watching sports.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; John R. Jenkins of Lima. 3 daughters;  Amiris Taylor of Akron, Ohio, Octavia Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia and Nakita Sims of Lima. 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchilden.  A brother; George H. Jenkins, Jr. of Lima.  2 sisters; Vera Collier and Mildred Collier (Ben) both of Lima.  His best friend; Al Riley of Lima.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Margaret Franklin and Debra French.

Home going services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Robert Toney, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
