John Edward Conyers, Sr., age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 26, 2016 at approximately 2:55 p.m. at Lost Creek Care Center in Lima.

He was born on November 30, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of Alfred P. and Ruth Wyatt Conyers; both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Conyers was worked as a probation officer in Columbus, Ohio.  He was a member of God's House in Lima.

He leaves to cherish his precious member 2 sons;  John E. Conyers, Jr. and Alfred Conyers both of Harrod, Ohio.  2 grandchildren.  A brother; Robert Conyers (Etta) OF Cincinnati, Ohio.  3 sisters;  Irma Ivey of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cassandra Conyers (Bobby Thompson) of Lima.  Berniece Dramani (Ahmed) of Maryland, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by a brother;  Alfred Conyers and a sister; Betty Jackson.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Harrod Christian Church in Harrod, Ohio.
