Mr. Joe J. Walker, age 71, passed from this life on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at approximately 7:46 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

He was born on August 21, 1947 in Allendale, South Carolina to the union of Joe L. and Eunice (Bradley) Walker; both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Walker retired from the United States Navy after over 20 years of service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory; 2  brothers; Nearley Bradley of Brooklyn, NY and Algie L. Walker of Lima, OH.   A sister; Clarice Walker of Columbus, OH.  2 nieces; Tonya Randolph (Kevin) and Vanessa Melson (Jerry).   4 nephews; Robert Walker, Carlos Walker, Nelson Bradley (Anna Lee) and Brandon Walker.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister and a sister-in-law; Berta Walker.

Home going services will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel with Rev. Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on, Monday, November 19, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. until times of services also at the Funeral Home.

Interment :  Dayton National Cemetery
