Joann Williams, age 56, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 19, 2016 at approximately 11:55 p.m. surrounded by her loved ones at her residence in Lima.

Joann was born on November 30, 1959 in Lima, Ohio to Albert Dent and Annie R. Williams.  Her father is deceased and her mother Annie R. Williams Turner is also deceased.

She worked at Lima Memorial Hospital as a state certified nursing assistant.  She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.  Joann loved caring for the elderly and children.  She enjoyed shopping and watching Law and Order.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a daughter; Rochelle D. Clay of Lima.  A brother; Jeffrey A. Williams of Lima.  A special cousin; Jennifer Shurelds (Scott),  2 special mothers; Louise Bibbs and Patricia Guice, 2 special brothers; Alex Rose and Willie F. Knight, Sr. and a best friend; Tammy Burden all of Lima.  2 special nieces; A`Nijah Clay and Madisyn Williams.  A host of cousins other relatives and friends.

Home going services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Cleven Jones, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment – Memorial Park Cemetery
