Mr. Jimmie Elukis Freeman Jr., age 76, passed   away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at his residence in Lima, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.

Jimmie was born on March 26, 1946 in Eutaw, Alabama to Jimmie Freeman Sr. and Ruby Odesser Johnson Freeman, who preceded him in death.

He was united in Marriage to Regina C. Freeman on August 12, 1989. She survives in Lima.

Jimmie was retired from Ford Motor Co. after over 47 years.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Jimmie was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.  He was a member of the American Legion and a poll worker as well. He was an advisor to many on all things.   Jimmie enjoyed going to the gun range, fishing and watching his kids sporting events.  He enjoyed his family very much especially his Children and Grandchildren

Besides his loving wife, he leaves to cherish his precious memory one son; Jimmie E. Freeman III of Detroit, Michigan. 2 daughters; Chelsea A. Clark of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sarah A. (Seth) Young of Lima, Ohio. 9 Grandchildren:  Morgan, Amira, Ethan, Troy, Tatyana, Austin, Alayna, Addysin and Prince "Luke". One great grandchild.  One sister; Delois Lewis of Lima, Ohio. He is also survived by Aunt Berniece Moten, Uncle Rufus (Myrtle) Johnson and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends especially Henry Clay and cousin Doug Mosley.

He was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Elizabeth Carter, Dorothy Freeman, and Shirley Henderson.

Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4 pm until 8 pm.  Family will be present from 6-8 pm at the Jones-Clark Funeral Home.  Services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10 am. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
