Jerry Lee Morgan , 69 years of age, passed away at 1:34 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at his residence. Jerry was born in Lima, Ohio on May 17, 1953 to Lawrence W Morgan Sr. and Gladys (Fullwood) Turner who both preceded him in death. He attended Lima Senior High School.

Jerry was a carpenter and worked on houses and businesses. He was a local truck driver and made deliveries. He also enjoyed going to flea markets and thrift shopping. He was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Green Bay Packers. Jerry loved making barbecue for the family, cooking and baking from scratch for the holidays or just because.

Jerry leaves to cherish his life and legacy, Fiancé, Brenda Holloway of Lima, OH; 5 children, Jeretta Luckett, Leegene Luckett and Alesha Luckett all of Lima, Lavita Luckett of Lima, OH and Jerel Luckett of Knoxville, OH; 2 step-children, Yolanda Holloway of Lima, OH and Jamarra Atchison of Highland Park, MI; Siblings, Rita Cameron, Lawrence Morgan Jr., Carolyn (Robert) Gross, David (Kathy) Morgan, all of Lima, OH, Anthony Morgan of Fort Wayne, IN, Estella Bridgemon of Toledo, OH, Sandra Morgan of Lexington, KY, Robert Morgan of Jackson, MI, Both Sunda (Van) Jones of LeNoir, NC are pastors; 4 grand-daughters, Jalisa Herron of Lima, OH, Latisha Luckett of Florida, Jaquayla Herron of Lima, OH, Bailey Luckett of Lima, OH; 6 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Jerry is also preceded in death by his step-son, Maurice Luckett; sister, Virginia Morgan; brother, Samuel Morgan.
