Mr. Jeff Dyous, Jr., age 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at approximately 9:15 p.m. at his residence in Lima.

He was born on June 15, 1937 in Columbus, Georgia to Jeff Dyous, Sr. and Willie Pearl Odom; both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Dyous worked as a Welder at Ohio Teledyne Steel; he was also a Veteran of the United States Airforce and a former member of the V.F.W. Post 1911.  He loved fishing and watching most sports.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a companion; Pamela Gibson of Lima. 10 daughters; Linda S. Upshaw (Tim) , Nina Cunningham, Ebony Townsend, Centayia A. Wilson, LaTaya Townsend, Tina Shafer (Adam), LaKeicha Thornton, Felecia Moore and Anita J. Wilson all of Lima.  Kathy Powell of Ft. Wayne, IN.  5 sons; Jeff Dyous, III (Anneak) of Detroit, MI.  Delvon L. Johnson, Isahia Dyous, Michael Moore and Marcellus Daniels all of Lima.  61 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  2 sisters; Bernice Odom Copenny and Rethema Odom both of Columbus, GA.  5 brothers; Felton Dyous of Boston, MA.  Ernest Odom of Atlanta, GA.  Joe D. Odom, Freddie Odom (Gloria) and Howard Odom (Hannah) all of Columbus, GA.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Sandra Overmyer.  2 grandchildren; Timothy "TJ" Upshaw, Jr. and Turrenal "TK" Knight.  A brother; John H. Odom.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

Interment -  Woodlawn Cemetery
