Mr. James Bernard Hicks,  age 73, passed from this life on Monday, May 4, 2020 at approximately 5:30 a.m. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.

He was born on May 20, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to the union of Zerben and Maebell (Simons) Hicks, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Hicks worked at Chrysler.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Lamar Hicks.  4 brothers; Eugene Rugley (Faye), Michael Rugley, Alfie Hicks and Allen Hicks all of Detroit, MI.  4 sisters; Mary Ford of Lima.  Brenda Rugley, Doris Rugley and Laverne Hicks all of Detroit, MI.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 4 brothers;    Zerben Hicks, Jr., Jerry Rugley, Johnny Rugley and Lin Hicks.  2 sisters; Marstella Hicks and Janice Hicks.
