Mr. Ivan Albert Baker, Jr., age 52, passed from this life on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at approximately 1:45 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

He was born on August 10, 1968 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Ivan A. and Teresa (Townsend) Baker, Sr., his mother survives in Lima and his father preceded him in death.

He was united in holy matrimony to Vanessa Ann (Liles) Baker, she preceded him in death.

He worked at Nichols Bakery.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Tyree Baker of Lima and Latisha Baker of St. Joseph, MI.  3 brothers; Marlo Baker of Lima.  Izel Baker of Toledo, OH and Delvan Campbell of Columbus, OH.  4 sisters; Mary Baker and Torrale Franklin both of Lima.  Tears Campbell of Columbus, OH and Tameshia Windhall of Marion, OH.  A girlfriend; Cynthia Simpson.  3 children of the heart; Markita Simpson, Ebony Bankston and Ora Simpson.  A host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 2 children; Thelma Liles and Deshawn Baker.

Home going services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Elder Ronald Fails, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the Funeral Home, Inc.
