Ingrid Elmira Bernadette Hurley, age 73, of Lima Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 2:40 A.M. on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was born on December 9, 1948 to the late Ferdinand and Elmira Marlow on the island of Barbados.

In England, Ingrid attended Cardinal Pole Roman Catholic School.

Ingrid married Herbert Malcolm Hurley on August 16, 1976. She came to the U.S. with her husband after he was honorably discharged from the military.  He preceded her in death.

Ingrid served as a foster parent for many years.  She was a longtime member of Berean Bible Baptist Church.

Ingrid leaves behind to cherish her precious memory 3 daughters: Afrika Hurley of Athens, GA; Candice Crowder Hurley and Danita Hurley, both of Lima, OH. 3 sons: Jesse Hurley, Trevor Hurley, and Anthony Hurley all of Lima, OH. 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. 1 brother, Dudley (Edris) Marlow of Atlanta, GA.  3 sisters: Julie (Simon) West of London, England; Miriam Marlow of London, England; and Marva (Adrian) Simmons of Miami, FL.  A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Home Going Services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm at North Park Community Church.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00 am until the time of services also at the church.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
