Obituary

Ida Mae Davis age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at approximately 8:55 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

She was born on January 8, 1945 to the union of Allen and Annie Brown Davis, Sr.  Both parents preceded her in death.

She worked as a Benefits Representative at General Motors Corporation and retired after 25 years of service.

She was formerly a member of Hillside Baptist Church and most recently, Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a member of the  N.A.A.C.P. and  U.A.W. Union #211.  She was also a volunteer at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Michael Anthony Davis of Lima. Three grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.   A brother; Andrew Davis of Lima.  3 sisters;  Annie C. Blackmon of Cleveland, OH.  Pearl Howard (Rev. Mose) and Gertha McKee both of Lima.

She was preceded in death by 4 sisters;  Wylean Miles, Thelma Youngblood, Selma Long and Rosie Hill.  Two brothers:  Ted Davis and Allen Davis, Jr.

Home going services will be held on, Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Church Worldwide Ministries, with Elder Ronald Fails,   officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014  from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
