Mr. Herbert Malcolm Hurley, age 63, passed from this life on Wednesday,  February 17, 2016 at approximately 8:07 a.m. at his residence in Lima.

He was born on March 8, 1952 in Sheffield, Alabama  to the union of Evy R. Echols, Sr. and Nellie Lee Hurley; both parents preceded him in death.

He married Ingrid Elmira Marlow Pearce Hurley who survives in Lima.

Mr. Hurley retired as a Post Master General from the United States Post Office in Dunkirk, Ohio.  He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.  Mr. Hurley was a member of Berean Bible Baptist Church.

Besides his loving wife Ingrid, he leaves to cherish his precious memory 3 sons; Jessie Hurley, Trevor Hurley and Anthony Hurley all of Lima.  3 daughters; Africa Hurley of Atlanta, GA.  Candice Crowder (Jordan) and Danita Clair (Cory) both of Lima.  4 brothers;  Ike W. Hurley (Bernice) of Sheffield, AL.  Wendell Hurley (Pamela), Rodney D. Hurley (Amber) and Anthony Hurley all of Lima.

Home going services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 12:00 noon at In Faith Ministries with Rev. Michael Lyons, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.
