Ms. Helen Jean Liles "Jeanie" , age 67, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She transitioned from this life on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Rockford, Ohio. She was born on July 18, 1955 in Lima, Ohio to Jimmie Liles Sr. and Helen (Lindsay) Liles. Both parents preceded her in death.

Jeanie was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and was known for having a powerful singing voice. She loved to sing and listen to music from her favorite artist Aretha Franklin. Although singing was her passion, her family was her heart. She loved her grandchildren fiercely and enjoyed spending time with them. Her enchanting voice, and loving spirit will be greatly missed.

Jeanie leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons: Allan Pickering of Riviera Beach, FL and Devon "Rashad" Pickering of Lima, OH; 3 daughters: Rutina Liles of Chattanooga, TN, Tessie Pickering of Riviera Beach, FL and Ijeanna (Sandros) Boddie of Lima, OH; 7 brothers: Lindsay (Marcella) Liles, Jerry Liles, Marvin Liles, Demond Liles, Gary (Malene) Liles, LaShane Liles and Michael Liles all of Lima, OH; 4 sisters: Sheila (Kenny) Dorn of Lima, OH, Shirley Liles of Columbus, OH, Matilla Liles of Lima, OH and Cecila Liles of Columbus, OH; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Albert L. Pickering Jr.; a brother, Jimmie Liles Jr and a sister, Vanessa "Ann" Liles.
