Mrs. Helen  Viola Roberts, age 88, went home  to be with the Lord on Friday, March 24 2017 at approximately 10:35 p.m. at St . Rita's Medical Center.

She was born on January 30, 1929 in Hurtsboro,         Alabama to the union of Herbert H. and Esther (Brannon) Harris, both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Dorsey Roberts, he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Roberts worked as a Nursing Supervisor at Oakwood Forensic Center and she formerly worked at the Hanley House.  She was a member of New Hope   Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son;        Artillus Foster of Lima and a daughter; Cynthia K. Scales of Lima.  12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  2 sisters; Cloria D. Jones and Queenie Lawrence both of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded, in death by a daughter; Cloria D. Flowers.  2 brothers; Sam Harris and Bill Harris.
