Grant Ward, III, age 42, passed from this life on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at approximately 12:37 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on June 19, 1975 to the union of Grant and Rosetta (Harris) Ward, Sr.; his father is deceased and his mother survives in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Mr. Ward worked at Master Maintenance.  He loved fishing, hunting and cooking.  He also loved spending time with his children and family.

Besides his loving mother he leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Brandon Flores and Cody Flores of Ottawa, Ohio.   A daughter; Aaliya Ward of Ottawa, OH.  3 brothers; Dewayne Ward of Cleveland, MS, Danny Ward of Lima and Gabriel Ward of S. Carolina.  7 sisters;  Lynette Ward, Lourie Ward, Christine Harris (Charles), Barbara Ward and Latoya Ward all of Cleveland, MS.  Patricia Harris of Lima and LueKeitha Walker (David) of Texas.

He was preceded in death by a brother; Nick Ward. Maternal grandparents; Adell and LueBertha Hollingsworth.  Paternal grandparents; Grant Ward, Sr. and Frankie Bell.

Home going services will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Madison officiating and Bishop Ernest W. Mayer, Sr., eulogizing.

Visitation/wake services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
