Gordon Eugene Haithcock, Jr., age 65, passed from this life on Thursday, February 11,  2016 at approximately 11:21 a.m. at  his residence in Lima.

He was born in Lima, Ohio on December 9, 1950, to the union Gordon Eugene and Alice Ione Day Haithcock, Sr.  His mother is deceased and his father and step-mother Madeline Haithcock survive in Lima.

One March 3, 1984 he was united in holy matrimony to Mary Rose Artis who preceded him in death on March 28, 2008.

Mr. Haithcock retired from Ford Motor Company.  He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Vietnam with the 101 ^st Airborne Division.  He was a member of U.A.W Local Union  #1219.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Michael Wilson of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Gordon E. Haithcock, III of Lima.  A daughter;  Michelle L. Haithcock Nichols (Quentin) of Lima.  8 grandchildren; Malachi, A'Miya, King, Mi'Quene, London, Maurenzo, Maurel and Malayshia.   A brother; Keith Perkins of Dayton, OH and a sister;  Tanya D. Haithcock of Lima.    A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Rashonda Haithcock.  2 sisters; Roslyn K. Downton and Stephanie Haithcock.

Home going services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Charles H. Johnson,  officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm.
