Gerald Dennis Guice, age 67, was declared deceased from this life on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 3 p.m. in his home in Lima, Ohio. He was born on September 23, 1957, to Jerry and Patricia (Estelle) Guice in Lima, Ohio. Both parents preceded him in death.

Gerald was employed at General Motors, U.A.W. Local 211, Defiance, Ohio. He was a Bar-B-Que pit worker for many years in Columbus, Ohio. He also worked for temporary employment companies. He declared Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at Cornerstone Harvest Church. He was an avid Cleveland Browns, Guardian and Cavaliers fan. He loved playing chess with family and friends. He was a ride and share friend to many.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 4 sons: Jeremy Reed Guice of Lima, OH, Brett Thomas Guice of Atlanta, GA, Shaun David Guice of Lima, OH, and Ryan Keith Guice of Atlanta, GA. 4 brothers: Anthony (Sharon) Guice, Greg (Cynthia) Jones, Michael Guice, and Jason (Brenda) Guice all of Lima, OH. 1 sister: Kathy (Andrew) Jolivette, of Missouri City, TX. 4 grandchildren: Jordan Marquise Guice of Lima, OH, Xavier Caron Guice and Rylie Louise Guice of Atlanta, GA and Gage Alexander Guice of Lima Ohio.  2 aunts: Gladys Guice (Willie) McNeal and Lula Estelle of Lima, OH. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. 1 uncle: Mackenzie (Bridget) Estelle of Round Rock, Texas and Close friends: Cleaster White and Freddie Carter.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Janie Koger; Olivia Estelle and Emmanuel Estelle, Uncles: Devlyn Estelle, Emmanuel Estelle, James Estelle, William Guice, Percy Cormier and Roosevelt Wright. Aunts: Gladys Cormier, Verdell Wright, Gertrude Estelle and Sadie Estelle.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, November 15, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Bradfield Community Center with Rev. Steve Wash officiating.
