Frederick Lee Shears, age 57, passed from this life on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at approximately 1:30 p.m. at  Lima Manor Nursing Home in Lima.

He was born on April 18, 1960 in Lima, Ohio to Eddie Cain and Rosie Lee Shears.   He was preceded in death by his father and his mother Hajah Rosie Hasin Muhammed.

Frederick worked as a Beautician he was also a member of Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church where he was the Church Musician for many years.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a brother; Dondi D. Muhammed (Zohra) of Lima.  Andre' L. Ramsey (Sherlina) of Surprise, AZ.  A sister; Blonda K. Griffith (Carlton) of Ft. Washington, MD.  A step-brother; Thomas "Brad" Bradford Ramsey of Lima. 2 nephews and 7 nieces.  3 great nieces and 3 great nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother; Christopher A. Shears.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at  12:00 p.m. at Eleventh Street Missionary  Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Toney, officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery
