Mr. Frederick Russell, age 66, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at approximately 3:15 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born on May 21, 1951 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Cenious and Hattie (Moore) Russell, Jr.; both parents preceded him in death.

He was formerly employed at Buckeye Rubber and General Motors Corporation.

He was united in holy matrimony on July 5, 1991 to Diane Upshaw who survives in Lima.

Mr. Russell was a member of New Life Church International where he served on the Usher Board.  He was never a stranger to anyone and loved his Pittsburg Steelers.

Besides his loving wife Diane Russell,  he leaves to cherish his precious memory,   2 sons; Henry N. Freeman of Lima and Frederick L. Freeman (Shayla) of Jeffersonville, IN.  6 daughters; Diana Brown-Owens (Joe) of Texas.  Kenya Grant, Darrelle Wright-Lloyd, Stephanie N. Ingram and Daysha Yarbrough (Willie) all of Lima.  Shondale Stapleton of Sarasota, FL.  24 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren and 1 great -great grandchild.  A brother;  Jimmy Russell (Barbara) of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 2 grandsons; Quantez Tennant, Tyrek Yarbrough. 2 brothers; Clifton "Sonny" Russell and Tommy Russell.  4 sisters; Lucy English, Catherine Sanders, Beverly Depp and Maxine Young.

Services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at New Life Church International with Rev. Darnell Williams, officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
