Frank James Lamar Jr ., 67 years of age, passed away at 10:42 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022, at his residence. Frank was born in Lima, Ohio on January 17, 1955 to Frank James Lamar Sr. and Edna Mae (Banks) Lamar. His mother preceded him in death.

Frank was baptized at a young age at 4th St. Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the U.A.W Local 1219. Frank spent most of his time working at the Ford Assembly Plant in Atlanta, GA where he retired from Ford Motor Company after 27 years of faithful service. In his spare time he loved movies and taking long walks around the Lima Reservoir. Frank will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Frank leaves to cherish his life and legacy, a loving father, Frank Lamar Sr. of Lima, OH. 2 brothers, Ralph (Andrea) Lamar and Tracy Lamar both of Lima, OH; 2 sisters, Regina Lamar of Cincinnati, OH and Diane Freeman of Lima, OH; 3 step-sisters, Saundra Grimes of Las Vegas, NV, Joy Washington and Deborah (Clint) Myles both of Columbus, OH along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-mom: Darlene P. Lamar.
