Mrs. Frances Erlyne Johnson, age 80, passed from this life on Friday, October 17, 2025, at approximately 2:26 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems in Lima, Ohio.

She was born on June 9, 1945 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Otis Earl and Mary Francis (Beasley) Goodman. Both her parents preceded her in death.

On August 8, 1965 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Homer C. Johnson who preceded her in death on December 30, 2009.

Mrs. Johnson worked for the Lima City Schools in the lunch room and also served as a union representative for her local chapter.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church.  She loved to donate to charities such as the Cancer Society, Arthritis Foundation, Special Olympics Ohio among others. She was an avid Lima Senior Spartans and Cleveland Browns fan and she loved to watch the Hallmark Movie Channel.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Greg A. Johnson (Maiklyn McDuffey) of Columbus, Ohio. Paula D. Ramirez-Juarez (Carlos) of Dayton, Ohio, Kristal L. Johnson of Lima, Ohio and Alisha A. Richardson (Kahlil Ausbrook) of Cleveland, Ohio. 7 grandchildren; Imari, I'Yawna, Isaiah, Xavier, Demitrius, Adamaris and Karla. 4 great-grandchildren: Jameer, Messiah, De'Mari and Adriel. A sister, Karen (Robert) Goodman and step-sister Jerri (Mervin) Winston and step-brother Terry Winston. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends who are to be considered as extended family.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother; Robert J. Goodman and a step-brother; Mervin Winston.

Home Going Services will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Shawn Russell officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025  at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at funeral Home.
