Mrs. Frances Elaine Chandler, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at approximately 5:33 a.m. at her residence in Lima.
She was born on October 27, 1954 in Marion, Ohio to the union of Roscoe and Mary West Clemons; both parents preceded her in death. In August of 1991 she was united in holy matrimony to Earnest Chandler, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Chandler worked as Social Worker/Claims Investigator for the Bureau of Workers Compensation. She was a member of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served on the kitchen committee. She volunteered for Big Brothers & Sisters and tutored middle school students. She loved to have tea parties, paint and travel, she also celebrated Kwanza.
Besides her loving husband she leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Jason A. Clemons of Lima. 2 grandchildren; Jaden A. Clemons and Jaxson A. Clemons. 3 brothers; Ricky Clemons (Martha) and David Clemons (Alice) both of Marion. Cornelius Clemons (Laura) of Denver, CO. A sister; Wilma Baker of Marion, OH.
Home going services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. John E. Kidd, officiating.
Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery
