Mrs. Faaiuga Sopo Penaia-Arrick, age 69, passed from this life into eternity on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 12:58 p.m. at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Faaiuga was born in American Samoa on August 24, 1956. She was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family and creating a loving home. A woman of deep faith, love, and compassion, she touched many lives through her kindness and generosity.

On October 15, 2014, she married Charles M. Arrick, whom she loved dearly, and together they shared a beautiful and loving marriage.

She was a faithful member of New Life Christian Ministries, where she served as a Deaconess, greeter, and worked joyfully in the kitchen ministry. Faaiuga found great fulfillment in serving others and welcoming all with warmth and kindness.

In her leisure time, Faaiuga enjoyed shopping and could often be found visiting local malls—one of her favorite pastimes.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Charles M. Arrick; her beloved children, Samuel Arrick and Martha Arrick, both of Lima, Ohio; and her treasured grandchildren, King Arrick, Jamar M. Williams Jr., Ja’Nae Williams, and Saniya Arrick.

Faaiuga will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving spirit, faithful service, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

Services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 12:00 noon at New Life Christian Ministries. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Pastor Damian Tibbs will officiate.
