Mrs. Eula Vee Selden, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at approximately 1:55 a.m. at Baton Rouge Medical Center in Lima.

She was born on May 27, 1937 in Kennett, Missouri to the union of Berlin and Flossie Baldwin Hawkins, Sr.  both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Carl Wendell Selden on August 29, 1969; he preceded her in death on December 13, 2006.

She retired from  St. Rita's Medical Center as a Nurse's Aide.  She was a member of Mt. Olivet Church of God In Christ.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory; a son; Byron Selden (Stella) of Lima.  A brother; John Hawkins (Verdie) of New Kensington, PA and a sister; Patria Oglesbee (Milton) of Belleview, FL.  Two grandchildren; Michael Curry (Lisa) and Brittney Raines (Damon)  and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; Barbara  Hawkins and Karen Sue Hawkins.  A brother; Berlin Hawkins, Jr.
