Eugene Davis , age 94, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 25, 2022. He was born in Horseshoe, Mississippi on April 23, 1928 to Lonnie Shine Sr. and Mamie Shine. Both parents preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory a Step-daughter: Bobbie (Richard) Long of Lima. 2 Stepsons: Dave Johnson and Michael Russell both of Lima; a Brother: Edd Shine of Lima, OH; a Sister in Law: Nora Shine of Lima, OH:  8 grandchildren. A host of Great Grandchildren: A companion:  Doris Dunbar; 2 Close friends: HB and Curt Stapleton. A host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a Son: Kenneth E. Davis; a Daughter: Eva M. Longmeier; Wife, Mary E. Russell-Davis; 3 Brothers: Lonnie Shine Jr., George Davis, Hubert Shine and Lorse Shine; A Sister: Maxine Davis; and Step-Daughter, Gloria Russell-Banks.
