Mrs. Ethel Mae Russell, age 87, formerly from Inverness, Mississippi passed from this life on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at approximately 6:44 p.m. at her residence in Lima surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on August 18, 1931 in Inverness, Mississippi to the union of Jessie and Jenny (Chatman) Rucker, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death.

On December 29, 1945 she was united in holy matrimony to Allen Russell, Sr.; who preceded her in death in on July 24, 2002.

Mrs. Russell worked in private homes as a Domestic in Mississippi.  She loved Bingo, music, cooking and having fun with her family.  She loved the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 5 sons; Allen Russell, Jr., and Carey Russell both of Columbus, OH.  George Russell and James Russell both of Lima.  Mathis Russell of Inverness, Michigan. 3 daughters; Gloria D. Russell, Delores M. Russell and Deborah Miller-Russell all of Lima.  38 grandchildren, 71 great–grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren.    A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son; Leon Russell, a daughter; Darlene Russell.  A brother; Jessie Rucker, Jr.  6 sisters; Nellie King, Lizzie Vaughn, Bertha King, Willie B. Hunter, Rosie L. Scott and Lula B. Smith.  A son-in-law; Walter Miller.

Home Going Services will be held, Friday, November, 30, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. B. LaMont Monford, Sr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on, Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. until times of services also at the funeral home.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
