Mrs. Ethel Lee Brown, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 31, 2015 at approximately 8:47 p.m. at her residence in Lima.

She was born on October 21, 1944 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Albert and Altrue Houston Harrison; both parents preceded her in death.

On August 15, 1963, she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. James L. Brown, Sr., he survives in Lima, Ohio.

Mrs. Brown was formerly employed at Corporate Support.  She was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides her loving husband James, she leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons;  Darryl D. Brown (Alicia) of Columbus, Ohio and James L. Brown, Jr. of Lima.  A daughter; Rosalind R. Brown of Lima.  A God child; Kiawanna Green of Nashville, TN.  6 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.  4 sisters; Mildred J. Vaughn (Cleo) of Toledo, Ohio.  Nora L. Shine and Mary L. Petty both of Lima.  Vivian Smith of Flint, Michigan.  A God sister; Willa "Ebony" Miles (Jake) of Lima. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Home going services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Bruce Monford,  officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery
