Mr. Emmanuel Gyland Flowers , age 35, a precious son, devoted father, loving brother and friend of many – transitioned from this life on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at The Ohio State University James Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He was born in Lima, Ohio on April 28, 1987 to his beloved mother, Elizabeth Flowers. She survives in Lima, OH.

Emmanuel was a graduate of Lima Senior High School class 2005 and he attended the University of Cincinnati. In 2021 he continued his learning at the Apollo Career Center where he earned a Certificate in the HVAC Program. Following his education, he pursued a career as a factory facilitator, where he displayed an unwavering commitment to his work and colleagues. Emmanuel was not only a hard worker; he loved God, reading the word, writing poetry and spending quality time with his children. He was known to be a genuine sweetheart with a positive personality that touched lives of all who knew him. His infectious smile, encouraging words and overall impact on his community and loved ones will be remembered and forever cherished.

Besides his loving mother, Emmanuel leaves to cherish his precious memories, 2 children he will forever love, Avi'el Flowers and Rylen Flowers both of Lima, OH; 2 sisters: Ebony (Darius)Wilkins of Woodbridge, VA and Elisha Johnson of Lima, OH along with 4 nephews ZyArick, Kaiden, Jaiden, and Darien, 1 niece Jaelle and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruben and Elizabeth Flowers; several aunts and uncles.
