Ms. Emma Louise Hutchins Taylor, age 68, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 28, 2014 at approximately 1:45 p.m. at Triumph Hospital in Lima.
She was born on January 30, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to Howard and Ruth Garner Hutchins, Sr., both parents preceded her in death.
She retired after 25 years of service as a press operator at Trim Trends (Harvard Industries). Emma gave her life to the Lord at an early age and after being out of church for a little while she rededicated her life back to the Lord last summer. She was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church. After raising 6 children of her own she took on the responsibility of raising a great-granddaughter from the age of 3 years old to an intelligent and lovely 15 year old. She was also a faithful giver if she had it, you had it. She loved to send donations to various children organizations. She also enjoyed cooking big meals, spending time with friends and family, reading her bible and going to church.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, 4 daughters; Marilyn Hutchins of Charlotte, NC, Tina Hutchins and Ruth Yarbrough (Rick) both of Lima. Michelle Henderson (Leo) of Hinesville, GA. A great granddaughter she raised; Dajue Newell of Lima. 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. 3 brothers; Thomas Hutchins (Amida), Howard Hutchins, Jr. and Wiley Hutchins (Lovie) all of Lima. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by 3 sons; Christopher Spencer Hutchins, Leonard Hutchins, Sr. and Stephen Hutchins. 3 grandchildren and a brother; Arthur F. Henry.
