Mr. Edward Minor, Sr., age 91, passed from this life on Friday, August 22, 2025 at approximately  8:15 a.m. at Springview Manor Nursing in Lima, Ohio.

He was born on December 10, 1933 in Courtland, Alabama to Nathanial and May Ella Minor.  Both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Minor worked at Teledyne Ohio Steel.  He was a Veteran of the United States Marines and the United States Army.  He was a Mason Prince with Samuel W. Clark Masonic Lodge #67.

Mr. Minor leaves to cherish his precious memory; 2 children; Edward (Phyllis) Minor, Jr. and Terrance (Mattie) Minor both of Lima. 7 grand-children;     Alicia Minor, Adrianna Lucas, Edward "Eddie"    Minor, III, LaTaura Minor, Matthew Minor, Terril Minor and Terrance "T.J." Minor and 13 great-grandchildren.  A large host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Robert Curtis, Jr., officiating.

Military Honors will be performed by V.F.W. 1275 Honor Guard.

Visitation/wake will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the Funeral Home.
