Mr. Earnest Nelson, Jr., age 76, passed from this life on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at approximately 10:28 p.m. at Kindred Hospital in Lima.

He was born on May 15, 1938 in Bruce, Mississippi to the union of Earnest and Catherine Daniels Nelson, Sr.; both parents are deceased.

Mr. Nelson retried from General Motors Corporation.  He was a member of U.A.W. Local 211.  He loved watching ball games, listening to Jazz music, cooking and fishing.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Ricky Nelson (Annette) of Lima.  4 daughters; Renita J. Green (Rev. William) and Jocelyn Smith both of Lima.  Pamela Kroninger (Antar) of Birmingham, AL and Benita Nelson of Auburn, AL.  A stepdaughter; Billie Jean Stearnes (Steve) of Lima.  12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  2 brothers; Charles Smith of Milwaukee, WI and Ernest Nelson of Memphis, TN.  A sister;  Maggie M. Jefferson of Lima.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Rosalind Nelson, 3 brothers; Willie Spencer, Wilmer James and Frank James.
