Mr. Durand "Punch" Simpson, age 65,  passed from this life on Sunday, November 21,  2021 , at approximately 6:48  p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on February 6, 1956 in Lima, Ohio to Leroy  and Cora Mae (Williams) Simpson, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.

He  leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 daughters; and Michelle Luckett of Columbus, OH and  Lavetta Luckett of Lima.  6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  5 brothers; Leroy Simpson, Jr., Robert Simpson (Chrissy), Anthony Simpson (Clarissa Riley), Jeffrey Simpson (Kelli) and Artillus Foster all of Lima.  A special brother/cousin; Jeremy Calhoun of Lima. 3 sisters;  Kay Kay Seales of Lima.  Sandra Washington of Las Vegas and Tina Downton (Brian) of Lima. A very close friend; Charmaine Robertson. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother; Terry Simpson.

Services  will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 12:00 noon at  the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  with Rev. Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services, also at the Funeral Home.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
