Dorothy K. Oliver McFadden, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at approximately 8:30pm at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on February 28, 1944 in Montgomery, Alabama to the union of David and Ethel Oliver Williams, both parents preceded her in death. She relocated to Lima, Ohio at the age of six.

She was a kind, compassionate, loving, generous and caring person to all.  She enjoyed travelling to different states with the Hy Ho Club and going to Chicago to visit her cousin, Barbara and other family and friends.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church in Lima, Ohio.  She was a 1962 graduate of Lima Senior High School.

Later in life she relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana.  While living there, she worked at Ford Motor Company making many friends before she retired with 20 plus years of service.  She was also an active member of the First Baptist Church of North Indianapolis.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: a son, David Anthony Morris, Sr.; 3 grandchildren, David Morris, Jr., Kayla Morris and Kentasha Nesbit Bell of Georgia; a sister, Corrine Wherry of Lima, Ohio; 2 aunts, Ora Lee Dixon and Mary Jones of Montgomery, Alabama.  She was a loving aunt but also like a mother to Pamela Ramsey of Lima, Ohio; Marcia (Kevin) Jones of Dayton, Ohio; Andre (Meosha) Corbin of Lima, Ohio; Desmond Ramsey of Lima, Ohio; Morgan Ramsey of Kent, Ohio;  Jameson Jones and Janay Jones of Dayton, Ohio; Cameron Ramsey of Iowa; Gregory and Matthew Davenport, Tierra Bagley and Chaz Walker of Lima, Ohio.  She is also cherished by a host of relatives and many friends.
