Ms. Dorothea Jean Harris, age 75, passed from this life on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at approximately 4:40 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

She was born on March 21, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to Owen Bryson Clark, Sr. and Jessie Mae Williams. Both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Harris was retired was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Kitchen Committee.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 5 sons; Darryl Harris, Marcel Harris, Leroy Conley and Timothy Ellis all of Lima, Ohio.  Walter Cole of New Jersey.  2 daughters; Helen Thomas of Kansas and Felicia Harris of Lima, Ohio.  2 sisters;  Karlene  Black of Buffalo, New York and Marlene (Anthony) Edwards of Lima, Ohio.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother; Owen B. Clark and 2 sisters; Marva A. Puff and LaVerina L. (Donna) Clark.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church  with Rev. Dr. H. Frank Taylor, III, officiating.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
