Doris Daniel, age 67, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her residence in Lima.

She was born on March 1, 1947 in Macon, Georgia to Isaiah Cater and Clara Lowe, both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Horace Daniel, Sr. who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Daniel was a Delivery person for the Lima News.   She loved to cook.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed her job and just loved her family.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, Three grandchildren, Horace Daniel, III, (LaTonda), Michael Daniel and Ki'Era Daniel.  11 great-grandchildren.  3 step-daughters and 3 stepsons; A daughter–in-law; Rose Daniel of Lima. 2 brothers;  John Holmes (Josephine) of Springfield, Mass and  Eugene Lowe of Macon, GA.  3 sisters;  Clara Lowe of Lima.  Annie Wiseman (Thomas A. Sr.) and  Jacqueline Lowe both of Springfield, Mass.  A special friend;  Pablo.  Special friends; Miss Pearl and Miss Debbie.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons:  Horace Daniel, Jr. and Wade Hankins.
